Graphic Packaging in Kalamazoo, MI Starts Structural Design

We are excited to see the first steel being placed for the machine hall of Graphic Packaging’s new paperboard machine! Excel Engineering’s structural department led the design of structural steel and building foundations for the 165,000 square foot industrial structure - including numerous cranes, tank foundations and pipe rack supports. This is the first of 5,200 tons of steel in the 100ft talll structure. Excel was proud to assist AFRY’s Appleton, WI office meet the demanding design and construction schedule for Graphic Packaging’s $600 million expansion in Kalamazoo, MI!
