Clark County partnered with Excel to design new highway department facilities in Owen and Loyal after determining that expanding their existing buildings would not adequately meet future growth and operational needs. At the Owen site, 8,000 square feet of heated vehicle storage and a wash bay were constructed. The Loyal site included a 25,000-square-foot facility featuring heated vehicle storage, a wash bay, maintenance bays, office space, and employee support areas. Strategic, budget-conscious design choices ensured the project stayed on time and within financial goals.
