FDA is an independent dairy cooperative located in Litchfield, MN. The co-op receives milk from 650 dairy farm families in the area.

Our team completed the facility design and engineering for the new milk receiving, milk processing, cheese make, cheese packaging, refrigerated warehouse, whey processing, protein dryer, lactose dryer, and powder warehouse. This expansion increased the plant's capacity to 2.6 billion pounds of milk per year. FDA produces 270 to 280 million pounds of cheese per year, along with other value-added products like whey protein and lactose powders.
