The Apple Store on Michigan Avenue is a sleek and complex building. The roof structure of the building is made up of carbon fiber structural members, that were designed to look like a MacBook.

Our Cold-Formed group had the opportunity to work on the project. The team designed the cold-formed steel soffit structure that runs in between the carbon fiber structure with the cold-formed steel members supporting the wood ceiling.
