Shoe Factory Lofts
Shoe Factory Lofts is and adaptive re-use of an existing historic property. Originally constructed for manufacturing, the five-story building now houses 55 dwelling units. Heavy timber construction, exposed brick walls, and salvaged wood flooring are among the building elements that enable residents to glimpse the past. All new historically accurate windows along with several completely restored “saw-tooth” style roof monitors provide more than adequate daylighting of the residential spaces.
