National Architecture Week - Camp Vista

It's National Architecture Week!  
We asked some of our architects this week to choose some of their favorite projects they've worked on. David Vanden Avond specifically wanted to shine a spotlight on the Camp Vista project in Kettle Moraine State Forest, Wisconsin. David admires the exterior design of the Chapel, with its two steeples proudly gracing the highest point of the property amidst the beauty of the Kettle Moraine Forest.  
He also cherished the collaborative process of working closely with the client to bring their vision for Camp Vista to life. One of the most noteworthy aspects of this project was the necessity to integrate three different construction types: concrete structures built in with the landscape, a wood glulam church structure, and steel steeples.
