Our team begins the precast design process with modeling. We utilize the contract documents developed by the architect and engineer to create a 3D model of the precast components. Our engineers then review the construction documents and begin designing the elements, creating an engineering markup to pass on to the modelers. From there, we create a document for calculations that are separated by the section of the design. The design stage includes design criteria, lateral analysis, member design, and connection design. We then move on to creating erection drawings and piece tickets to guide the manufacturers.
